The Stingrays are Back!
Stingrays Hockey is BACK! Opening night is Saturday, so you don’t want to miss that, right? What’s better than some high energy action sports for a romantic evening out? As a girly-girl, even I like Hockey!!!!! There are TONS of tickets left, so make sure you get yours! As an opening night special, you can get one balcony or premium ticket, a hat, a $5 concession voucher, AND free parking! Can’t make it Saturday? Check the schedule, because it’s a super fun event to go to. I’m bummed we are going to miss it, but you know, Granddaughter birthday party takes precedence!
La Traviata at the Joe!
Opera Lover? This weekend starts opera at the Joe! La Traviata will be the performance, and what a beautiful way to experience opera…under the stars! La Traviata stars Jessica E. Jones as the ill-fated courtesan Violetta, and Rafael Moras is her ambitious lover Alfredo. Regimanld Smith, Jr, is playing Germont, the meddling father who values his family’s reputation over the happiness of his son. I’ll be honest, I have been to my share of musicals, and love them, but I have NEVER been to the opera! I think I’ll start with Into the Woods, which is coming in the spring…
Halloween at the Yorktown!
It’s time for Halloween on the Yorktown! There’s nothing to fear at Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum this Halloween! Families are invited to celebrate aboard the historic USS Yorktown on Saturday, October 23, from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. Wear your costume, and trick or treat from plane to plane! This event is free to attend.
There will also be a Halloween-themed tour through the museum. Your little Boos and Ghouls can enjoy a photo station, craft, and there will be a cartoon playing every 30 minutes in the Smokey Stover Theater. With giveaways, Food Trucks and more, who would want to miss this?
The Coastal Carolina Fair Comes Back this Week!
