I can’t believe it’s that time of year again!  I’m not even close to ready for the Best Halloween Trick-or-Treating in the Charleston Lowcountry!

This is the time for jack-o-lanterns, ghosts, witches, and goblins to make their appearance.  Of course, it’s time for all those boos and ghouls to get out there and grab their candy!  With everything in life going on, you may be wondering how to make it a ghastly great time for your little ones.  Here’s what’s going on in the Charleston Lowcountry for Trick-or-Treating! 

Trick or Treating in the Lowcountry

There are neighborhoods that are having different times for the kiddos to go out, so no matter what, check your neighborhood’s website, Facebook page, or Nextdoor to see if your subdivision is doing things differently. 

Coastal Carolina Fair for Halloween!

There are tons of things going on this weekend for your Halloween fun, and of course the Fair is on again this year!  What better treats than Funnel Bakes, Turkey Legs, and Corn Dogs? It’s always a blast to dress up and go to the fair! Maybe you’ll see Raphael James or Bill Walsh from Live5News!

Trick-or-Treating in the Charleston Lowcountry is not just for kids! For grown-up things to do, there are All Hallows Eve bar crawls and parties all over the Lowcountry this weekend, too many to even mention!   

Trunk or Treating! Safest Trick-or-Treating in the Charleston Lowcountry!

Trunk or Treats:  Some families prefer to do Trunk or Treating as a possibly safer alternative to traditional candy hunting.  There are several trunk or treats in the Lowcountry this weekend, and here are a few:

Summerville/Goose Creek Trick-or-Treating in the Charleston Lowcountry

The Blake at Carnes Crossroads, an retirement and assisted living community, is holding their Trunk or Treat at 4015 2nd Avenue, Summerville, is holding their spooktacular with live music and candy Friday from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.  Go out and get your goodies, and dance with your little ones in the parking lot, too!

Church at Cane Bay, 438 Marketplace Drive, is also holding their event on Friday.  Your kiddos can get treated from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. for an evening of decorated trunks, candy, games, and food trucks!

A go-to Halloween event in Summerville is an all-day event at Pumpkin Junction!  Located at 850 E Butternut Road in Summerville.  Join this finale to the 2021 pumpkin season from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Come out for a great meal of world famous Jedburg Junction BBQ or Bourbon Street New Orleans Cuisine. Ride the hayride, have your face painted, come in costume, trick or treat to all of the booths, have your photo taken in all your costume glory!

Moncks Corner Best Trick or Treating

The VFW of Moncks Corner is hosting a daytime Trunk or Treat at their Post 9509 at 1141 S Live Oak Drive, Moncks Corner from 2:00-4:00 p.m. You may set up at 1:30 and then pass out candy, or collect it, from 2-4 p.m.

An evening gathering of ghouls will be at Faith Church in Moncks Corner, located at 1286 N Hwy 52, Moncks Corner, and will run from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.   

Hanahan Best Trick or Treating

Hanahan Rec promises a spooky great time at their Trunk or Treat from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saturday at the Hanahan Amphitheater, 3100 Mabeline Road, Hanahan.  Trunk or Treat starts at 6:00pm, and the costume contest will start at 7:00pm on the Amphitheater stage! They will be showing the movie “The Addams Family” directly after the costume contest.  Fun, prizes, and tons of candy!!!

Mt Pleasant

Mt Pleasant Towne Centre is having their Annual Fall Festival Saturday from noon to 3:00 p.m. Face Painting, Trick or Treating, a pet costume contest, live music, and so much more!  You’re not going to have celebrated Halloween until you have hit the Towne Centre at 1218 Belk Drive in Mount Pleasant!
